About the Role

At NDR, every engine tells a story — of heritage, precision, and timeless performance.

As an Engine Specialist, you will play a vital role in bringing classic engines back to life, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering practices.

You’ll be part of a team dedicated to preserving and perfecting some of the world’s most iconic vintage Bentley engines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overhaul, rebuild, and fine-tune pre-war and post-war Bentley engines to exacting standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using both traditional methods and advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Fabricate or restore engine components where necessary, ensuring authenticity and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and restoration details.
  • Collaborate closely with restoration engineers, machinists, and quality inspectors to achieve precision results.
  • Ensure all restorations align with NDR’s philosophy of authenticity, craftsmanship, and excellence.
  • Participate in engine testing, calibration, and post-restoration performance assessments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience rebuilding or restoring vintage or classic car engines (Bentley experience preferred).
  • Deep understanding of traditional and modern engine systems, machining processes, and performance tuning.
  • Skilled in precision measurement, alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, patience, and respect for heritage vehicles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and original factory blueprints.
  • Team-oriented attitude with strong communication and collaboration skills.
